New tension was registered at the end of the meeting with the Vlacho family leaving the room shouting “shame”
The trial for the Tempe tragedy continued today, with the 23rd meeting at the Three-Member Criminal Appeal Court of Larissa.
During the proceedings, defense attorneys took the position on the prosecutor’s motion regarding requests they had made.
Tension was noted when Zoe Konstantopoulou referred to the involvement of the Greek State, causing a confrontation with the president of the court.
New tension was registered at the end of the meeting, when Mr. Iliopoulos indicated that “the trial should perhaps be separated in terms of the 717 contract, so that the facts can be completed.”
Then, Mr. Vlachos shouted to the president: “Madam president, get him down from there.”
Mr. Iliopoulos replied that “I have a history with this man”, with Maria Vlachou interjecting, saying: “But you will speak politely, you will not say ‘this man'”.
The Vlachos family left the room shouting “shame”, while a verbal episode followed with Kostas Lakafosis and Christos Konstantinidis.
