Nikos Androulakis revealed yesterday on TikTok, that in addition to being a fan of Erling Haaland’s Norway, he had given the… “anointing” to Argentina despite his appreciation for Pedro Sanchez. After all, Mr. Androulakis was quick to congratulate the Spanish Prime Minister on the victory of his national team.

However, there are many organizational and political “to-dos” for the week. In the coming days, the official opposition leader seems to be between Harilaos Trikoupis and the Parliament. On Tuesday he will hold a press conference on energy, while on Friday he will attend the debate on the constitutional revision in Parliament.
September’s critical milestones
At the same time, the consultations for the big events in September have already started. The party attaches great importance to the two critical milestones of the beginning of autumn, which de facto will have a pre-election connotation.
Preparations for the official opposition leader’s presence at the Thessaloniki International Fair and the presentation of the party’s government program are already underway. A few days before he is in Northern Greece, however, Mr. Androulakis will speak at the 52nd anniversary of the founding of PASOK.

According to information, suggestions have been made to the leadership of the party regarding the orientation of the anniversary event. Of course, without definitive decisions having been made, one of the scenarios being considered is its realization not in Athens, as is usual, but in Heraklion, Crete. It seems, however, that there are also those who suggest to the head of the Movement not to change the “habit” of the last years and that the venue should remain the same.
However, in Heraklion, Crete, which is, among other things, the birthplace of Mr. Androulakis, even today, when PASOK in the big “picture” is under intense polling pressure due to Tsipras and ELAS, Parataxi maintains very strong forces. By extension, the success and massiveness of the event, if it takes place there, will be a given.
Preparations for TIF
PASOK places great emphasis on TEF. As we enter the pre-election period, in Harilaou Trikoupi they want to show that they are the only governing opposition party. They insist that their program is costed and that the government has nothing new to say. The leader of the official opposition is going to move in this direction, showing that PASOK differs both from the ND and from the logic of the protest parties.
According to party sources, there are two elements that will be reflected in the party’s announcements: reforms and social changes.
“Nikos Androulakis will explain that when the rest of the forces divide the Greeks and try to convince that an ideological war is raging in terms of the past, PASOK appeals to the great majority who want to live better, with a pure social sign but without dogmas and ideologies” they pointed out.
On the same wavelength, Movement officials stated that “the solution to the country’s problems is neither the right-wing ideological extremism of Mr. Georgiadis and Mr. Voridis, nor the self-centered parties that constantly change their views like the parties of Tsipras and Karystianou.”
The tour in Thessaloniki
At 11:00 in the morning, Mr. Androulakis will be in the Municipality of Neapolis-Sykeon, starting from the outdoor market at the junction of Mitropoleos and Mitropoliti Karavangelis streets. He will then have a meeting with the “green” mayor, Simos Danielidis, while at 15:00 he will meet with the mayors of Second Thessaloniki and Halkidiki on the issue of water resources management at the Grand Hyatt hotel.
On Tuesday at 13:00, the president of PASOK together with the press representative Kostas Tsoukalas, K.T.E. Minister of Energy Frangisko Parasiris and the Secretary of the Energy Sector Kostas Mathioudakis will hold a press conference regarding the government’s actions in energy and PASOK’s programmatic plan.
